Biography

Ethan Grussgott is a drummer based out of Northern Colorado. He currently is a first year masters student at the University of a Northern Colorado, Studying under Jim White. Ethan finished his Bachlors in Jazz Studies at the University of North Florida under the tutelage of Danny Gottlieb. While in college Ethan has gotten the privilege to perform with Jamison Ross, Billy Childs, Sean Jones, Marquis Hill, Micheal Mossman, Joe Martin, Longineu Parsons, Joel Frahm, Matt Penman, Bob Reynolds, Corey Christiansen and many other notable artists. During this time, he received awards from the North-East Florida Jazz Association as-well as the Jacksonville Jazz Society. Ethan has been playing drums professionally for several years and has performed with many groups, in several countries. He has played with musicians such as, Melonie Marod, Thomas Milovac, Scott Giddens, Stan Piper, Dennis Marks, and many more. Ethan is also a recording artist and has several project’s being released in 2025.
